I tell them this: the card isn’t just about loss. It’s about what still remains.
In 2019, as I began my journey as a spiritual practitioner, both my life and the world around me were moving through grief and change. The Five of Cups appeared again and again, reminding me to notice the blessings still standing and to transform pain into resilience, clarity, and hope.
As a Vietnamese American, I carry the strength of two cultures. My work is about translating not only language but also emotions, visions, and possibilities. The Five of Cups honors this truth: that healing refines us, that even in brokenness there is beauty, and that every ending holds the seed of a new beginning.
